Aurora

Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1996 from Stavanger) is a Norwegian musician and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released through the label Decca Records in May 2015 getting great reviews by music journalists and media. Half the World Away - by Oasis - for John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole - are already two of the most notable covers the artist has done. Katy Perry, who endorsed the song Runaway by her, also gave it some more recognition. Make it a special day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding the piano in her attic then becoming enthralled by its sounds. The parents of her May-Britt family as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music not as a profession or a pastime, but for growth. This led to her started writing her own music. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her most favored songwriters. In response to her mother's suggestion that people should not be aiming to become famous with the songs she writes, but rather recognize the significance of their lives and the impact they have on society. When she was six, she began to play the piano, and when she was nine, started writing songs. Her family didn't know until the age of 14. Aurora had no idea of becoming a star. Aurora is simply a writer who loves writing songs. According to her, she believes music can make any person feel better.
